Finding the right pole class can be confusing! Use this cheat sheet to find the right class for you. As you can tell classes are divided in to two categories: pole fitness and sensual movement. You are encouraged to enroll in both! Our program is designed to help you learn gradually, sustainably and safely! Depending on your level of experience and amount of weekly practice you will graduate a level within 4-8 weeks. When in doubt give us a call!
Pole Fitness classes are designed to help you build strength, flexibility and endurance. You will learn new moves,get strong, determined and courageous.Sporty pole is fun and challenging!
Welcome complete beginners. This class focuses on pole fitness basics, fun beginner combinations and important building block moves. Be prepared to have fun, be challenged and feel sore the next day.
Welcome Power Pole graduates and those of you able to invert! Level 3 class focuses on unlocking aerial transitions, 3-2 point of contact moves as well as inverted spin combinations. This class requires graduation from Power Pole or instructor clearance.
Power moves are key moves in pole that typically require consistent conditioning, technique and more than a few practices to obtain. These moves will not only strengthen the body, but also open doors to other, more advanced pole variations. Power pole welcomes students who are looking to build muscle control and endurance while gaining major upper body and core strength. Students who have graduated from Pole Fitness Lvl1 or are cleared by staff are welcome in this class. Please wear shorts!
Sensual movement classes are designed to help you build confidence and flow while learning how to pole dance. Our teaching technique uses a combination of choreography and freestyle prompts to not only help our students advance technically, but also improve quality of movement, and ultimately improve their relationship with themselves.
Soft intro to Sensual Movement . Complete beginners are welcome. In class you will learn a short , sensual choreography. Other than learning how to move and execute pole work, students will begin learning about fluidity, flow and finding confidence in sensual movement. Heels are optional.
Dim the lights and put on the shoes, we are going to dance. This class is for beginners who are ready to experience dancing in heels. Students will continue learning choreography as well as heel and floor technique.
Put your heels on, let's learn some tricks! Exotic tricks is a hybrid class combining elements of pole fitness and sensual basics. In class students will work on learning level one/beginner tricks in heels, and work on putting those tricks into combos! Wear shorts, bring knee pads just in case, and most importantly, your shoes!!!
